Hexaprofen is a 2-arylpropionic acid derivative. Hexaprofen inhibits CXCL8-induced chemotaxis, while no activity is detected against CXCL1-induced chemotaxis[1]. In Vitro:Hexaprofen (compound 5) (10 nM) inhibits CXCL8-induced chemotaxis of human polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMNs) by 10%[1].
