In Vitro:2,4-Dihydroxypyrimidine-5-carboxylic Acid (initial concentrations: 0.17-0.27 mM) is stoichiometrically converted to Uracil (HY-I0960) and Carbon dioxide by a partially purified enzyme preparation from Neurospora crassa[1].
