Benzgalantamine (GLN-1062) is a pro-agent of galantamine, used for the treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. In Vivo:Benzgalantamine (0.3-3 mg/kg, intranasal, twice a day for 2 weeks) improves cognitive function by promoting neurogenesis in the hippocampus, specifically in the dentate gyrus and CA1 regions of the hippocampus in rats models[2].
