Nocistatin (human) blocks nociceptin-induced allodynia and hyperalgesia, and attenuates pain evoked by prostaglandin E2[1]. In Vitro: Nocistatin (5.0 nmol) significantly improves the nociception (5.0 nmol)-induced impairment of learning and memory without changing motor activity or response to electric shocks[2].
