Olorofim (F901318) selectively inhibits fungal dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH), a key enzyme in the pyrimidine biosynthesis pathway. Olorofim (F901318). Olorofim exhibits excellent activity against A. fumigatus and other Aspergillus spp.[1].
IC50 & Target:Dihydroorotate dehydrogenase[1]
In Vitro:Olorofim (0.1 μg/mL, 24-48 h) inhibits the spores germination and mycelium growth, exhibits antifungal activity against Aspergillus spp.[2].
In Vivo:Olorofim (15 mg/kg, ip, every 8 hours for 9 days) ameliorates chronic granulomatous disease (CGD), exhibits anti-infectious activity in Aspergillus-infected mouse models[3].
