Sisunatovir (RV521) hydrochloride is a potent and orally active respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) inhibitor with IC50 values of 1.4, 1.0 nM for RSV A, RSV B, respectively. Sisunatovir hydrochloride inhibits RSV infection and reduces virus titers in the lungs of mice[1]. In Vitro:Sisunatovir hydrochloride (10 nM; 2 h prior to infection) inhibits RSV infection in HAE cells[1]. In Vivo:Sisunatovir hydrochloride (0, 1, 10, 50 mg/kg; p.o.) reduces virus titers in the lungs of mice with RSV A2 infection[1].
