Albaconazole (UR 9825) is a broad-spectrum triazole and oral activity antifungal agent[1][2]. In Vitro:Albaconazole (UR 9825) shows antifungal activity with MIC50s of ≤0.0002, ≤0.0002, ≤0.0002, 0.06, 0.015, ≤0.0002 mg/L for C. albicans, C. parapsilosis,C. tropicalis, C. glabrata, C. krusei, C. guilliermondii, respectively[1]. In Vivo:Albaconazole (15, 25, 50 mg/kg; p.o.; once daily for 10 days) shows antifungal activity in scedosporium prolificans infection in rabbits[2].
