O-Desmethyltramadol hydrochloride mainly exerts its analgesic effect by activating the µ-opioid receptor (µ-OR)[1][2]. In Vitro:O-Desmethyltramadol hydrochloride can be metabolized from Tramadol through the cytochrome P450 (CYP) 2D6 enzyme[1].
