5-Amino-2-methoxyphenol

5-Amino-2-methoxyphenol is a phenolic regioisomer. 5-Amino-2-methoxyphenol produces dose-dependent antinociception in the mouse formalin test, with its second-phase effect being mechanistically dependent on both FAAH and TRPV1. 5-Amino-2-methoxyphenol can be used for antinociception research^[1]. In Vitro:5-Amino-2-methoxyphenol (compound 2) is conjugated by FAAH in greater amounts, albeit less efficiently and in lesser amounts than 4-Aminopyridine (HY-B0604) in brain homogenate from FAAH⁺/⁺ mice^[1]. In Vivo:5-Amino-2-methoxyphenol (25-100 mg/kg, i.p., single dose) dose-dependently produces antinociception in the mouse formalin test, with its second-phase effect being mechanistically dependent on both FAAH and TRPV1^[1].
5-Amino-2-methoxyphenol (300 mg/kg, i.p., single dose) results in no significant liver injury, as indicated by serum levels of ALT and the ALT/AST ratio^[1].
