Kaempferol-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside is a flavonoid glycoside. Kaempferol-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside exists in the root bark of Cudrania tricuspidata. Kaempferol-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside inhibits Cu2+-induced lipid peroxidation of low-density lipoprotein. Kaempferol-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside possesses antioxidant activity and scavenges DPPH free radicals[1][2].
In Vitro:Kaempferol-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (100-10000 ppm; 30 min) potently scavenges DPPH free radicals, with an IC50 value of 4.14 mg/mL[2].
Kaempferol-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (20-200 ppm; 1 h) potently inhibits Cu2+-induced lipid peroxidation of low-density lipoprotein (LDL), with an IC50 value of 3.65 mg/mL[2].
