MDI-2268 is an inhibitor of plasma kallikrein inhibitor 1 (PAI-1). MDI-2268 has good antithrombotic properties and regulates blood coagulation and fibrinolysis process by enhancing fibrinolysis. MDI-2268 can be used in research areas such as deep vein thrombosis[1]. In Vitro:MDI-2268 (1 mM, 3 days) prevents Paneth cell defects and apoptosis in Atg16l1 T300A organoids[2]. In Vivo:MDI-2268 (1.5-3 mg/kg, ip, every 8 hours for 6 doses) exhibits antithrombotic effect in mouse electrolytic inferior vena cava (IVC) models[1].
