L-Proline (Standard) is the analytical standard of L-Proline. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. L-Proline is one of the twenty amino acids used in living organisms as the building blocks of proteins.
In Vitro:L-Proline standard (1 g/L, 48 h) inhibits AFB1- or AFM1-induced apoptosis through downregulation of PRODH expression and its downstream apoptotic factors (Bax, Bcl-2 and cleaved Caspase-3)[1].
L-Proline standard (40-400 μM, 4 days) activates the mTOR signaling pathway, induces the differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells (ES cells)[2].
In Vivo:L-Proline standard (10 g/kg, po for 28 days) exhibits protective effect against renal oxidative damage and dysfunction caused by AFB1 and AFM1[1].
