Z-335 sodium is an orally active thromboxane a2 (TXA2) receptor antagonist, with IC50 values of 29.9 nM and 32.5 nM for human and Guinea pig platelets, respectively[1][2].
In Vivo:Z-335 (0.3-3 mg/kg, p.o.) inhibits thrombus formation in a dose-dependent manner[2].
Z-335 (3 mg/kg, p.o.) significantly prevents thrombus formation even at 16 h [2].
