Lobetyolinin is a polyacetylene compound. Lobetyolinin can be extracted from the traditional Chinese medicine Codonopsis pilosula. Lobetyolinin has antiarrhythmic effects. Lobetyolinin can be used in liver cancer research[1][2].
In Vitro:Lobetyolinin (50 µM; 24 h) significantly restores the heart rate of larvae and improves atrioventricular block in Terfenadine (HY-B1193)-induced arrhythmia model of Cmlc2-GFP transgenic zebrafish larvae[1].
Lobetyolinin (6 h) restores abnormal heart rate and rhythm in adult zebrafish model[1].
Lobetyolinin (up to 80 µM) shows no significant inhibitory effect on cell viability and does not induce apoptosis in HepG2 and Huh7 hepatocellular carcinoma cell models[2].
