Ubrogepant (MK-1602) is an orally active and selective antagonist of calcitonin gene-related peptide receptor (CGRP). Ubrogepant has high affinity for CGRP receptors in human and rhesus monkeys, and can effectively block the cAMP response stimulated by α-CGRP. Ubrogepant can be used in the study of acute migraine[1][2]. In Vitro:Ubrogepant (0.5-3 h) has a high affinity for CGRP receptors in human and rhesus monkeys, with the Ki values of 0.07 nM and 0.079 nM, respectively, and can effectively block cAMP response stimulated by human α-CGRP[1]. In Vivo:Ubrogepant (0.06-100 μg/kg; intravenous injection; 1-3 times) inhibits Capsaicin (HY-10448)-induced dermal vasodilation in a concentration- and time-dependent manner in rhesus monkeys with an EC50 of 3.19 nM[1].
