AZ-33 (LDHA-IN-4) (compound 33) is a selective lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA) inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.5 μM and a Kd of 0.093 μM[1]. In Vitro:HeLa cervical cancer cells were treated with 500 μM AZ-33 for 30 minutes. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis of the cell lysates revealed no residual AZ-33 within the cells, indicating poor cell permeability of AZ-33[2].
