Calcium channel-modulator-1 is an orally active calcium channel modulator that blocks aortic contraction with an IC50 of 0.8 μM. Calcium channel-modulator-1 can be used for the study of cardiovascular conditions[1]. IC50 & Target:IC50: 0.8 μM (Aortic contraction)[1] In Vivo:Oral administration of Calcium channel-modulator-1 (compound 38) (20 mg/kg) causes a 35-37% decrease in systolic blood pressure in spontaneously hypertensive rats. However, iv administration of Calcium channel-modulator-1 to anesthetized spontaneously hypertensive rats causes a decrease in blood pressure[1].
