CY5-YNE

CY5-YNE (Sulfo-Cyanine5-alkyne) is a class of near-infrared fluorescent dye derivatives used in research related to the labeling of proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, and nanomaterials. CY5-YNE is a click chemistry reagent. It contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups. CY5-YNE exhibits photostable emission properties in imaging applications, enabling covalent labeling of azide-modified substrates^[1]. In Vitro:CY5‑YNE with alkyne functional group enables efficient covalent conjugation with azide moieties; CY5 provides red fluorescent signals^[1].
CY5-YNE enables the fabrication of charge-patterned mosaic membranes on polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membranes with well-defined fluorescent domains and precisely controlled coverage^[1].
