IC50 & Target: Y2 receptor[1] In Vitro: Peptide YY (PYY) (3-36), porcine is a Y2 receptor agonist, generated via cleaving the first two amino acids at the N terminus of PYY1-36 by enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV), and can reduces food intake[1]. In Vivo: In mice, actinonin significantly prolongs the anorectic effect of PYY3-36 (50 nmol/kg) and maintains higher PYY3-36 plasma levels than treatment with PYY3-36 alone[1].
