In Vitro:NusB-NusE interaction IN-1 (compound 1) (25 μM; 15 min at 37 °C, 1 h at room temperature) potently inhibits the protein-protein interaction between Bacillus subtilis NusB and NusE with an IC50 of 6.1 μM, achieving 88% inhibition at a 25 μM concentration[1].
NusB-NusE interaction IN-1 (compound 1) (200 μM; 16 h at 37 °C) moderately inhibits the growth of Bacillus subtilis (9% inhibition) and Escherichia coli DH5α (21% inhibition) at a 200 μM concentration[1].
