Vomicine modulates cGAS-STING-TBK1 signaling pathway, and exhibits anti-inflammatory activity. Vomicine is an alkaloid that can be isolated from Strychnos nux-vomica seeds[1][2]. In Vitro:Vomicine (0-100 μM, 72 h) inhibits the mRNA and proteins expressions of cGAS, STING, IRF3, IL-6 and IFN-β in mutated SOD expressiong neuronal cell hSOD1G93A NSC-34, improves the morphology of hSOD1G93A NSC-34[2].
