Fluasterone is a potent G6PD inhibitor with a Ki of 0.51 μM. Fluasterone has anti-inflammatory, cancer preventive, and anti-diabetic effects. Fluasterone is orally active[1][2][3].
IC50 & Target:Ki: 0.51 μM (G6PD)[3]
In Vivo:Fluasterone (0.2% and 0.3%; in diet for 39 days) shows anti-hyperglycemic effect in diabetic mice[2].
Fluasterone (200 μg/mouse; intradermal injection; once) suppresses the TPA-induced acute inflammatory and epidermal hyperplastic effect[3].
