P-2281 is a mTOR inhibitor with anticancer and anti-inflammatory efficacies. P2281 inhibits mTOR activity in colon cancer cells. P-2281 suppresses Dextran sulfate sodium salt (HY-116282C) (DSS)-induced colitis by inhibiting T cell function and is efficacious in a murine model of human colitis[1]. In Vitro:P2281 (30 μM) diminishes induced IFN-γ production but not TNF-αproduction in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (hPBMCs)[1]. In Vivo:P2281 (15 mg/kg; ip; daily; for 10 days) suppresses DSS-induced colitis by inhibiting T cell function[1].
