Y11 inhibits the autophosphorylation of FAK1 by blocking the phosphorylation of Y397. Y11 increases the expression level of IL-6. Y11 is applicable for cancer research[1][2][3]. In Vitro:Y11 (0.1-10 µM; 4 h) does not affect injury-induced LIF mRNA expression but increases injury-induced IL-6 mRNA expression in C6 astroglioma cells[2].
