EC23 (AGN 190205) is a stable synthetic retinoid analogue and induces neuronal differentiation[1]. In Vitro: EC23 (AGN 190205) induces neural differentiation accompanying by elevated levels of stathmin and profilin-1. EC23 induces the expression of known cellular retinoid binding proteins in the TERA2.cl.SP12 cell line[1].
