Resorcinol monoacetate (Acetylresorcinol) is a derivative of Resorcinol (HY-B0907). Resorcinol monoacetate can be used in research of skin infections such as acne, seborrheic dermatitis and tinea pedis[1]. In Vitro:Resorcinol monoacetate exhibits antifungal activity against M. gypserim and C. albicans[1]. In Vivo:Resorcinol monoacetate exhibits acute toxicity, causes toxic symptoms, such as irritability, tremors, ataxia, salivation, lachrymation, piloerection, convulsions, and terminal depression[1].
