CK-2289 is an inhibitor of type III cyclic 3'5'-adenosine monophosphate phosphodiesterase (PDE). CK-2289 can inhibit platelet aggregation and decreases mean arterial blood pressure. CK-2289 can be used for the research of cardiovascular disease, such as congestive heart failure[1].
In Vitro:CK-2289 (1-100 μM) inhibits human platelet aggregation produced by adenosine diphosphate and sodium arachidonate[1].
In Vivo:CK-2289 (0.03-1 mg/kg, i.v.) increases myocardial dP/dTmax and decreases mean arterial blood pressure in dogs[1].
