AZD-4818 is a potent, orally active antagonist of chemokine CCR1. AZD-4818 can be used for researching chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) [1].
IC50 & Target:CCR1[1]
In Vitro:AZD-4818 inhibits the binding of the CCR1 ligand MIP-1α to CCR1 receptors, thereby preventing the recruitment and activation of inflammatory cells such as monocytes, neutrophils, and macrophages[2].
In Vivo:AZD-4818 (0.3-26 μg/kg, nebulised inhaltion for 5 days) inhibits the neutrophil influx into the bronchoalveolar lavage of the cigarette smoking mice[2].
