In Vitro:Tin(II) chloride dihydrate (1.00-5.00 mM; 20 min) induces mutagenic activity in Salmonella typhimurium TA102, with a mutagenic index of 2.0 at 5.00 mM and significant dose-dependent increases in revertant colony counts at concentrations ≥1.25 mM[1].
Tin(II) chloride dihydrate (0.125-1.25 mM; 20 min) induces mutagenic activity in oxidant-sensitive Escherichia coli IC203, with a mutagenic index of 2.0 at 1.25 mM and significant dose-dependent increases in revertant colony counts at concentrations ≥1.00 mM[1].
