Sulopenem etzadroxil is an orally active prodrug of the antibiotic Sulopenem (HY-105284). Sulopenem etzadroxil is active in mice infected with Bacillus anthracis[1][2][3]. In Vivo:Sulopenem etzadroxil (12.5-50 mg/kg; p.o.) shows in vivo activity against Bacillus anthracis in a murine model, with survival rates not statistically inferior to that of the Ciprofloxacin (HY-B0356)-positive control[2].
